Angel Eyes Question (help)

Hello, Im a newbie here...


I have a Angel Eyes kit.. I conect the 2 halos to the ballast and from the ballast came out only 2 cables.. One red and One black... Thats it... So, where now I connect those 2 cables?....

Some I saw a few How To's and I see a yellow cable, brown cable and a long black & red cable.

sounds like you got the discounted kit as well...

That particular kit doesn't come with the wiring harness (including the relay) which is an additional $50 cost.

I pluged in the 2 halos to the balast.. Now.. from the ballast it only came out 2 short cables (4-5 inches) (black & red).. What I have to do with them now? Where I connect them?


A friend told me: "You can extend the cables if you like, if you connect it directly to
the battery your angel eyes will never turn off.

I recommend you connect them to your headlight power plug.* There is
both a ground and a positive wire there."

Which one is better... It will work connecting them to the red & black wires of my headlights?

Probably a good bet. Having never installed angel eyes, I can't speak from exerience. You have to find them power and ground. Where just depends on when/how you want them to turn on. Hooking them to the headlights should work, so long as the don't draw ridiculous amounts of power.


If it were me, I'd probably find an ignition switched power source use 'em like running lights.
