And the Build Begins!!

Ive asked before and not many people really gave an answer

the best one I got is that it should be proportionate to your RPM speed, i.e. 25psi for 2500 rpms

Posted some more pics. FMIC and Intake are in. I'm no photographer. I'd have better ones but they didnt come out good.

Looks awesome dude. I'm glad I sold my setup to someone who is gonna use it well and take care of it as much as I did. Enjoy it! :D

Sweet! I love the valve cover, subbing for some horespower numbers. According to ups i should get the valve springs tomorrow :)

but what is the stock oil pressure on the FS for the MSP?

the best one I got is that it should be proportionate to your RPM speed, i.e. 25psi for 2500 rpms

Correct 10psi minimum per 1000 RPM.

Not necessarily. The oil pressure on my MP3 (and I dont see how an MSP will be hugely different) is around 25 psi at a 1,100 rpm idle. It will then climb quickly to about 63 psi by 3,000 rpm. After that it is pegged at 63 psi until redline. There is a pressure regulator thingy in the oil pump and this discussed further somewhere in the Doc B sub-forum.

I beleive he is referring to the Minumum average if you broke it down that way.

yea, and that is low load as well not a hard pull

youll see higher pressure under load with boost as well, but on average it should match your RPM

though I think I forgot to mention that when I had mine hooked up it was at 25psi minimum as well, so it shouldn't go below that

again though, I cannot give a good answer cause its been 6 months since I had mine hooked up and it was only hooked up for about 2 weeks

probably should start another thread if you want to keep talking about oil pressure.. these are the kinds of things that make searching for info on this forum so tedious at times.

I don't have a lot of space to work with unfortunately. I gotta measure up the exact space today. I think only have 2.5 - 3" to work with far as thickness of a fan.

Well....i need new fuel injectors, hook up my exhaust and radiator fan and ill be driving it. My Defi link is all wired up also installed my SS AFC 3 , and wide band. Here is a nice little preview from my camera phone.

You can fit a 15" slim puller on the turbo side, and a 12" pushe on the front of the condensor pushing through. That's exactly what I ran with that old setup and it worked awesome.

One of my freinds had 2 12" slimlines laying around from one of his projects. I figured those would work. If not I'll go bigger.

Slow slow slow build.......its killing me. Today we discovered there was no knock sensor....lost somewhere.. So we are ordering that tomorrow. Other than that i gotta work out this SS AFC. Not reading vac or boost right so i have to re check the vac line we ran to it for kinks and possibly shorten it up. One thing after another. Soon enough i will have her out to play.

the length of the vac line fot the afc shoudnt matter. i had the line goin form the intake mani to the gromet on the DRIVERS side then over to my glove box
