the fans do not sit flush either, with CS SMIC they do.

Not that it bothered me, but my dad has a metal shop and I was just wondering if it would be possible to make a bracket that would be place on the radiator to push the fan a little more inside so that it aligns better with the SMIC !?

all you'd really need is some washers and longer bolts

Or you can leave it the way it is. I will not move anywhere! If you want to use washers the fan will prolly get in the way of the intake. Which intake do you have Marat?

injen... i dont think it would get in a way of it, unless you have stock air box...

I have the AEM CAI, so I will let you all know.

Why do you regret the purchase of the AEM CAI Ricenudles?

it makes that funny resonance noise on partial throttle, and it bugs the s*** out of me (well it used to). I made my aem into a SRI and that helped a little (i think). My theory is the different piping shape of the AEM and Injen. If you look at the injen, it resembles the AEM v2 pipe. The shift in the piping size in the Injen is what stops the weird vibration noise.

CustomMSP - I think i might be getting additional funds next week *crossing my fingers* If everything goes as planned, I'm going to pick up one of these sweet ICs!

^ cause the pipe doesnt go straight up, but curves inward first....right?
i guess people who install the IC will know what we're talking about.

even with washers in place we had about 1/8th of an inch clearance between the pipe and the fans.

I know it would be ok that way too, but I just want to have a more stock look when Ill go to the dealer if I ever buy one  !!! If the fan is align there is more chance that the mecano will think that I got the stock SMIC ;) !!! Anyway, your SMIC seems to be a great product and Im really considering buying it for next spring if there is still left :) !!!
