Hey Everyone,

I'm having a bit of trouble.. I have started to install my own amp wiring kit(not fun for a 17 y/o with no electrical abilities) and i have run into a problem... I have all my rcas/remote wire/power cable all hooked up and I cant find a damn place in the trunk area to put my ground wire... there are pretty much no bolts down there and my wire wont reach from under the spare tire to my amp..

HELP please!!!

thanks in advance :)

I'm sure someone has a better placement idea then I do, but it works for me.

In your trunk where the latch is, pull that plastic piece off (there's 2 clips I believe u need to pull off first)
Then if it sticking your head in the trunk from the back of your car, on your right side you will see a ground wire with a bolt that comes out, take that out and put your ground wire on that with a proper connection (I hook or whatever) and thread it back into place.

Make sure you disconnect your battery before all of this if you haven't already!!
If you have enough wire, you can hide it under the carpet in the trunk.

Use the seatbelt bolt, just make sure to sand off the paint first so you get a good solid connection. Thats what I use and I'm pretty sure what 99% of installers use for a basic install.

Seatbelt bolts usually work the best. I have had mine under the bolt that holds the jack down. Just pick a place that already has a bolt going through, and sand off any paint around the area and you should be good to go.

Thank you so much everyone, I was kind of thinking the seatbelt bolt would work( or I would make it work if i had to) yesterday, but im deffinently going to use one of those ideas.. i'm so glad to be on such a helpful forum :)

Thanks again!

if ur looking into the hatch, on the left side if you tilt ur seat down there should be a spot where the seatbelt screws in,
