Amish Country Fun Run - Sat October 27

I hate weather permitting, especially when I live 3 hrs away.

Ok, I have to back out, my Dad just called, and said the plan is to sit out till atleast 1pm, plus 30 to get home, and an hour to get to Nararre......

Good luck guys, and stay safe.

I agree, If we are able to run on a race track or Auto-x in the rain we should be able to run this. Does everyone have wipers?

There are no cars and Amish buggies going the other way in Auto-x :) I think for everyone's safety it's best to avoid it IF the rain persists... But the route is saved in the OP, you guys are welcome to print it, save it and use it whenever you want.

I'll be running no matter what, but hopefully the rain holds off so more can enjoy it other than Marc and I :)

I'm thinking I'm going to puss out and stay in the garage this weekend and get some much needed worked done to the P5 instead. Sorry, guys.

What do you care, Chris, you're not even coming! :P

It's always nice to see you guys but I'd rather spend a rainy Saturday wrenching. :(

Hey guys, weather forecast suggests we will be hit with the leftovers of Hurricane Sandy, the chance of rain went up to 70% at the moment.

I'm gonna go ahead and post in the main op that the meet is cancelled. However, should any of you decide to do the run you're welcome to use the map posted in the OP.

About 90% sure we are in. I guess the only thing I can say is if you don't see me before 11:45 I am not going to be there. Sorry to be so vague but I only have Evan's number and he is out so there is no one else for me to contact. If I do make it I will have my 2-way radios.

I'm bummed we couldn't make it. We were in right up to 2am. That is when Andrew decided it was time to wake up and play until about 430am. That meant I didn't get to bed until 5. To top it off Jen's Grampa stopped by at 830 for a visit.

I had a horrible time. The roads had too many curves, you carry way to much speed, it was too sunny, and I wish I would have stayed at home wrenching :)

There was no sunshine, but there was only 1 buggy going our direction and 2 going the other direction.
traffic was minimal only 1car held us up in the beginning. We beat the time on the mapquest directions by 30-40 minutes. I think the weather kept people indoors.
