Alternative CX-5 Rear Bumper Guards

It's been a while since anyone here raised any questions about Mazda's meager offerings for a CX-5 rear bumper guard. In the meanwhile it's occurred to me that there are lots of accessory guards on other cars that would no doubt work nicely as an alternative. One of them is the black vinyl stick-on guard offered for the Mazda 5 (https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)). One would have to take some measurements and make sure the curvature is the same as CX-5, but I'll bet it would work as well as several I have seen on various Nissan, Mercedes and Subaru models, to name a few.
