Altered Customs FMIC Kit

I'm running one. Good kit. Good price. Can put one together yourself for even cheaper. I just decided to say **** it since her kit comes with everything you need including clamps and couplers. She's real cool too.

You da man! That s*** is crazy cheap. Almost to good to be true.

well here is her website. She is no longer a AV on this forum. Some people say her kit is a ebay kit for the most part. You still have to modify the piping to get it all to fit correctly so its not all bolt on. If she has addressed that then thats another story. It also looks like most of her threads in the Authorized Vendor Sales area have been deleted by the admin.

Personally I haven't heard anything bad about the kit other then you still have to make it work and its not a direct bolt on application. Then again some people think its a ebay kit for the most part.

Also have you checked out the how-to thread yet? We have a DIY FMIC thread that might interest you.

I'm running the AC kit and it isn't that bad. Now the fitment is questionable, but I finally have gotten it all squared way. Her customer service (surprisingly) is pretty good. She has provided me with solutions and advice on the install of the kit and even pictures when I needed them.
Once u actually get the kit on and working, it is good. I dnt have any leaks, and the clamps (t bolt) and couplers were all there and were sterdy.
Bottom line is its definatly worth the money. You are getting a complete FMIC kit for 450. But if you are an impatient, or don't have access to some tools (mainly a hack saw or a chop saw and a manual/power grinder) then the kit might prove to be more of a hastle. Hopes this helps

Are you guys kidding me? You think this "kit" is good? It's a goddamn Greek Tragedy. This is the sorriest excuse for a FMIC "kit" I've ever seen for an MSP. It's a cheap Chinese made FMIC with some random pipes thrown in a box.

Reality Check - buy a better kit and save yourself a ton of time and aggravation in attempting to get this thing to "fit".

Make your own and save some cash. Look around the forum or forums and check for FMIC's They are selling by the dozens. Piping can be had by the eBay kits if you really wish to go that route. Its not hard to do. Creativity is key. Thats what I plan on doing as soon as I get my MSP running and broken in. I may just go completely custom though and go Water to Air.

Now that she isn't a vendor here I'm free to speak. Her kit is an overpriced joke. You're paying $200 for her instructions, $750 for her markup, and the rest for the "kit".

Do yourself a favor. if you want a budget FMIC, check the link in my sig (or click this), then go buy yourself a good IC core and work on it yourself. its not that hard.

Otherwise, dish out the cash for a true bolt-in kit.

Oh well, she's no forcing n.e one to buy it so I gess is their choice and Im pretty sure she came up with this idea of saling the kits b/c members requested it.

Pay her $200 for the instructions, or visit my link.

Your choice, same results. And thanks to other members' input, there are a few routing choices documented in that version, where as she only gives one.

I bought her kit, and have had no problems with it. I didn't pay an arm and leg for it. If i remember it was around 400$. And creativity is key. There are so many ways to mount fmic kits, so just either piece one together or buy ANY fmic of your choice and put it together. If you can connect pipes and pull your front bumper off it's cake. And by the way i have had cooler air temps, and no problems with the ac fmic in any way. (moon)

Not gonna lie. Almost baught into that kit but the markup is stupid. Just buy a cx kit yourself or pipe from siliconintakes.

Siliconintakes has a perfect intercooler that will fit under the crashbar for $100. Another $100 for pipes ect maybe more.
If you get a cx make sure its not tube/fin. The cheaper kits are.

Id have a cx kit but shipping is kinda stupid on ebay. Id rather buy it from a normal website vendor.
