All-Seasons Seen To Work Fine in Snow

I picked up a set of Toyo FZ4's on Wednesday for my MSP. The following day it snowed about 5 inches. I had no real problems driving in the white stuff. The LSD is definitely an advantage in getting up hills. I just had the tire dealer fit the tires to my Racing Harts. I got the same size as my Bridgestones.(215/45/17). The tire place said they would put my Bridgestones on in the spring for free. Not a bad deal.

My washer squirters stopped working today so I stopped and picked up some fluid. After I tried to use them they didn't work. When I got to work I checked and all the fluid was gone. I must have a leak somewhere. So it is at the dealership mow to get worked on. I am also having them check the CLUNK. They agreed that there should not be a clunk in a brand new car.

I'll let you know what they say.

I've got all seasons also. We got about an inch last night and I had no real trouble getting to work this morning. I have a mild case of the clunk with 200 miles. I had the dealer check the bushings when putting on the new tires and of course they didn't see any problem. Hopefully it won't get any worse because there are pretty specific conditions that it will only clunk under now.

I'm surprise that your all-season work fine.
I still remember the time i was stuck in a 2 inch deep snow with my stock tires. So, now i'm on steelies and Winter tires. It's soo much better, but no fun on the turns. :(

Today is probably the coldest day in Toronto at -18 degrees, with a windchill of - 29 degrees. I took her out for a long drive, and during some humps on the ground, i also noticed the 'clunk' noise in the rear suspension. I really don't want to drive back to my original dealership to complain to them about this. Can i just bring it back to any Mazda Dealership and have them look at it?

LTD, I would imagine you could take it to any Mazdaspeed dealer in your area to get it fixed. It doesn't have to be the one you bought it from.

Good luck and stay warm!

when i drive i will just put the volume all the way up to max...

ta da, solution to the clunk problem!

My all season Dunlops did quite well last night on they way back from work, then again we only got about 1" of beautiful white powder:(

Good news is we're suppose to get more next week:)

Here's one for ya.

My snow bank in my driveway is 9 1/2 feet tall. And growing. I'm NOT exaggerating, we measure it out of curiosity. We are having a record snow fall this year. I shovel 3 times per day lately( no snow blower :(), each time with the snow almost to my knees. Although today is nice out, most days aren't lately.

Wow! 9 1/2 feet of snow(shocked) My father always said, no extremes are good.

Why don't you send some of that snow down here:D
