All Mazda Meet at Orange County Choppers May 2-3 2009

I got some bad news guys.
Since this meet has gotten so big we are forced to cancel the cruises on both days for 2 reasons.
1. too much liability on OCC.
2. Local PD asked me not to do it.
So rather than stir up any bad blood between OCC and namely myself and the Local PD we are forced to cancel the cruises.
This is not stopping anyone from going on their own. If you still want to go I can tell you some good raods to go on, but this is strictly at your own risk.
Sorry guys.

Is there going to be something different on Sunday to make up for it? Otherwise I may only attend Saturday..

I agree, totally understandable at this point. I know how difficult it is to navigate 40 people/cars, and you sure do get a lot of attention with the po po.

I'm staying for the night no matter what and partying! Next day, maybe a photo shoot by the lake and at OCC?

Edit: I updated the first post.

Mazda traffic jam is what it would be! There will be partying... maybe I should rethink my plans....

I'm in for staying until Sunday. A 2.5 hour drive two times a day isn't fun.

Also, I won't be able to cruise there. I have to be at this event I helped set up sat morning to make sure everything starts out smooth. I'll be coming straight from there though.

Someone took up the reins and is planning a cruise on his own. This is not a planned event and is not affiliated with the OCC event. That being said. I hope you guys have a good time on the cruise. That route he's got picked out is AMAZING. 218 is one of the funnest roads around here.

i took this from the bottom of that post...

Meet up at the Newburgh Mall Lot earlier in the morning on Saturday. The morning before the event is preferred so we can knock out a cruise and not miss any of the event and because if you are interested in good pictures, lighting is best in the morning or afternoon. Total trip time should be about an hour.

this is going to be a problem for the guys already waking up early to make it to check in from 11 to 1... im probably not going to make it to this as i would have to get up at like 6 or maybe even sooner and that makes a long day even longer...but would love to do it if it were sunday morning or afternoon..

just get a copy of his route and go early sunday morning since all the ppl who cant make it sat morning because they are driving so far (from the cape for example) will be staying there and thus be available early sunday morning.
