ALL 2.3 DZR speeds Want a TMIC

I think i'm gonna dive on this too. I already have the ets, but i like the idea of having the stock shroud. I'm sure the ets will still sell even with this on the market.

Here's to corksport!

It's not even Feb yet...sigh. I am buying a house too and moving in March...so waiting for March has now become extra painful.

Sorry if this was covered in any of the previous ten pages. How do we order it in black anodized? and how much extra will the option be? I want one black anodized with a polished shroud....

did you see that cp-e now is selling their TMIC (3.25, polished) for $350? dun dun dunnnn. I'm sticking with CS in hopes that the cast endtanks will negate the additional .25 of core size lol. plus i like that we can use the OEM shroud. The less attention I get at the dealership the better haha.

Edit: I stand corrected. cp-e is cast as well. =/

so now it looks like the only benefit (not counting any actual numbers that either piece provides) to the CS piece is that it's $50 cheaper and you can use the factory shroud...I am really on the fence now...

There isn't fitment issues on the 06 6. Petoria was asking if we will have boost tubes released for sale for the 06 6 by the time we release the TMIC.

Also, we released another update on the TMIC Here

So far, so good. Consistent temps from the corksport TMIC. Personally i'm curious as to how fast the CS TMIC sheds heat once soaked. As in, sitting in the staging lanes for a drag race with the motor running. The TMIC is just soakin up heat. Don't know how one would measure this.

So, what is the total cost if you made the deposit. 249 or 299?

I am curious to this as well; especially now that there is the $50 option for the laser etching...

Could we see some pics of the etched version? While I like the better seal this is said to create, it defeats the benefit of being able to use factory shroud..."benefit", that is.

I asked the same question to Corksport and they said the $50 deposit goes toward the purchase price of $299, that is, if you put down a $50 deposit you owe $249 when it is released in March.

There is not a laser etched option. There is an option to add a laser cut aluminum shroud if you do not want to use the OEM shroud.

Also, we test fit the TMIC on a CX-7 today. The pics below show the factory vent shroud sealing with the TMIC. For the CX-7, you will have to use the OEM shroud because it is required for airflow to make it to the IC.

As far as anodizing, we are still looking into color offerings. Most likely only black, red, and blue (same as our MAF housing colors). However, we don't have that on the site yet, because we are still working on a final price for this. Your deposit still holds a TMIC regardless of finish though.

Ah'hem! Uh, the OP should correct the title of this thread. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the engine code is MZR.
