Alchemy - Turning epic failure into a resounding success

One from Brett: Rick cone seen working on Muff's joint in the paddock

Good story, and make me appreciate the ball joints even more, and make sure I check them from time to time. Nothing like seeing someone stranded on the side of the road with their front left bumper on the ground and knowing they could have prevented it.

Any ways, sounds like it wasn't exactly a boring weekend. I met moxnix and Katie once when I was down in DC, great people.

It definitely was NOT a boring weekend :D And yes, Shawn and Katie rock. They're housing me and letting me drive 1 of the cars @ the DC pro next month, so I'll be up that way this time

Anyone coming up for the ProSolo event at Seneca Army Depot at the end of July?

Also could someone PM me with how a ProSolo event runs? I might be signing up for the event, and it will be my first ProSolo event ever.

That is currently on my list of maybe events it depends on how I do at the other events before that.

The Finger Lakes event is a single course ProSolo so there is only a single course not the left and right courses like a traditional ProSolo. You will get 3 set of 3 runs on the same course (3 Sat AM, 3 Sat PM, 3 Sun AM) Your final time/finishing position is based on your best time from each of those sessions.

I have not yet been to a single course pro myself.

One thing to remember is if you are localish and plan on sticking around till the end be sure to fill out the contingency paperwork at registration and run the stickers for the chasecam bonus challenge as well as putting your name in the hat. At Atlanta they had 4-5 people that they pulled the names out of the hat that were not able to run because they did not submit the paperwork at registration.

Awwww, that's no fun, I was looking forward to the side-by-side. If I register I'll be running STX with a basically stock MSP, so it's likely I'll get waxed by the WRXs. I'm just thinking about doing it for the experience for when I make my car competitive in STX (well, at least get all the mods available in STX).
