Alarm keeps honking...

This just started happening a few days ago... but after I get out of my car and arm the alarm, it keeps on honking on and off until the turbo timer shuts off the engine. It's really annoying! I think it's because of my front MT motor mount that's making my car idle pretty rough. But still, I've had the motor mount and turbo timer installed for over a year now and this has never happened. Now, I always have to wait around for the engine to shut off before I arm the alarm... and that totally DEFEATS the purpose of having the turbo timer.

Anyone know why the car might be honking like this?

The stock alarm sucks. Your alarm could just be thinking it's time to crap all over itself.

Have you tried turning the shock sensitivity down a little? Turning the knob counter-clockwise does it. I'm sure you know this already if you are able to arm your alarm with a TT ticking down. I'm not sure what else to tell you.

Actually, I had a shop install the turbo timer since I couldn't figure out how I'd get it to let me arm with the engine still running. (headbang)

Anyhoo... so where is this shock sensitivity knob located? I didn't even know we had one. (dunno)

sorry but im a bit off the subject here...but there is a way to install the TT to run & allow the alarm to arm too? I have a damn TT sitting here that i havent installed for 2 years because of this
