Alarm issues anyone else???

I recently went to the dealer to have the audiovox alarm system installed on my MS3. Well about every night my alarm will go off. At first I was suspicious of someone trying to break in. I dont buy it anymore because of the fact it happens so often. Last night it went off at 10:30 I went outside to see why.... Nothing nobody around. I called the cops, cops werent convinced someone was trying to break into my car. So heres the question has anyone gotten this alarm system, and had similar problems. I think it's too sensative any guesses? Any cops on this board willing to assist me with security tips if my car is being attempted to be broken into?? Thanks all.....

hmm, is there a shock sensor on it, and does it have a sensitivity adjustment?
the msp alarm (a mazda product) had issues with random set off but adjusting the sensitivity fixed most of them.
after that it liked to leave the headlights on, i uninstalled it from my msp a couple weeks ago, getting a real alarm shortly.

sucky thing is i dont know if it does, Im guessing it does was pretty expensive.
