Nope 215's and I'm not rubbing at all right now. Not on bumps or turned I rubbed before I rolled though, every little bump it sucked

i have a question: can any tire be stretched? i have general tires(205/45/16) and im wondering if i could put them on a 8 inch width rim.

according to the tire manufacturer likely not. but if you choose to go against that recommendation and can find a shop to do it, its physically possible

stretching already means the manufacturer's recommendations go out the window, 205/45 will fit
i posted a miata in sumthaiguy's thread that got locked, it had 205/40's on an 8" rim and that was a very mild stretch
205/45 will barely even stretch the tire, since there is more sidewall it wont look as small

with one comes the other.

just looked back at a random sampling of pages, and it all looks like reasonable, stylish fitments... stretched tires and poked wheels = not aggressive.
