Ok, I think I'm done with stiff ride. I'm gettin to the part of my life where purpose is more important than looks. I have ms3 lowered on H&R with bilstein shocks. By the way the shocks are still doin their job even after 20k. the stock shocks blew after several weeks after being lowered with H&R.
I'm thinkin of puttin back my stock springs so the ride wont be so stiff anymore. I read somewhere here before that the stock spring is pretty stiff enough for handling, and that the main issue with ms3 is the shocks. Should I put back my stock springs and keep the bilsteins shocks in there since they do an amazing job plantin my four wheels to the ground even with the H&R springs?
I have an upgraded motor mount so I think there wont be issue with wheel hop. I recently installed sound system, so I'm really leaning toward makin my car more like a grand touring as oppose to a track car. I mean it's a fwd, it'll have it's limitations. I think all that's left for me to do with this car is the tmic, cdfp internals then a tune. So far i got AP, tbe, cai. All I want is a 300HP car with a great ride quality and stereo set up. Damn Im ramblin here.
Anyways, Is is ok to have an aftermarket shocks pair up with stock springs?
