Aftermarket NAV system for non-tech non-bose Touring?

So, I am not able to afford the extra 4K for the Tech package, so i am getting the Touring with the standard audio system. I have tested out the NAV system on the CX-7 and love the touchscreen radio. So, I want to replace my factory audio system with a good touchscreen system. I understand that scosche has a Dash kit (http://scosche.com/scosche_caraudio.aspx?CategoryID=5&ItemID=MA1533B)
and there is a pioneer/sony steering wheel controller box that may allow me to use my steering wheel buttons (http://www.peripheralelectronics.com/home.asp)

so has anyone been able to install an aftermarket nav of a non-bose system using the Scosche dask it?

has anyone been able to get the steering wheel controls to work with their aftermarket system? If so, what nav system did you use?

anyone been able to figure out the clock issue?

I'd like to see what the kit looks like installed on the CX-7. Although the description for the kit states that it is:

- Painted flat black to match factory dash color.

Isnt that panel in the CX-7 a shinny piano black? For example the CX-7 GT without the tech package had a shinny black stereo surround?

Either way Im sure someone will buy the trim kit and we'll know soon enough.
