Aftermarket Alarm on MS6??

I am moving to SoCal soon and want to put Alarms on both the MS6's. I was just wondering if anyone has ran into any problems with this yet. I would think not since alarms are pretty easy to deal with. My concern is the Key I dont want to carry around the alarm pad and the key/pad. Any help would be great thanks.

i believe you can adjust the sensativity on the alarm system that comes with the car im not sure how tho.. some of the other guys may be able to comment on that.

I have a new Clifford alarm system I've been contemplating on installing, but like yourself I don't want to carry the huge Mazda key and the alarm pager remote.

You have to buy the shock sensor upgrade, this installs a little black module with a knob on it, mines underneath the driver side dash, above the dead pedal/foot rest. it lets you turn the sensitivity up and down, but do it a little at a time to test. The people I work with have a chevelle ss, a harley and an 03 cobra, all of which set off the alarm when I turned it up a half way, so I had to turn it back down. This might be an easier way to go than installing an aftermarket alarm

I too am interested in installing an alarm. Preferrable a Viper Alarm with their new StartSmart app for the iPhone.

I have the GT model, so I am unsure how it will work with our advanced keyless.. I've seen people have done it before though, as well as on the Mazdaspeed 3 GT.

Any insight would be great.. I'd much rather install this myself than fork out $2-300 to a shop.
