Okay, so about a year and a half ago before moving to Sacramento, Ca when I lived in Indiana I was a pizza delivery driver. I was out on a delivery on highway 26 heading towards a neighborhood. After delivering the pizza I turned around and headed back to the HQ.
Now back on high 26 again I pushed on. Snow was on the ground but the streets seemed to be well plowed, or so I thought.
I hit a patch of ice as I was switching lanes. It through me into a spin until I stopped to hault as I hit my passenger side of my car to the median, complete 180 spin. It hit so hard it turned my car off.
I was okay, shooken up but okay. I turned my car on and turned around. As I started to drive a loud humming began to grow louder and louder as I accelerated coming from my back passenger tire. It made me gringo my teeth just thinking about what could have happened.
The very next day I went to the dealership. I didn't say anything specific about what happened the night before excpet that there was a loud humming that began the night before. They took my car from me for the day and that night I got the call. Apparently my wheel barrings were broken. They didnt ask me anything about how this could of happened except that they had already ordered the part and was expecting it next week.
My car was picked up about 3 days later all good as new. Never questioned me about it at all.
I got lucky.
My Mazda 2 has been great ever since with no problems except for a bent in my rear axel but that was not due to the above incident, was more recent.
