AEM with Injen heat shield?

Hello, - Long-time listener, first-time caller! Just wanted to know if putting the Injen heat shield ($50) or E-bay cheapie heat shield ($25 or less) around the filter of the AEM short ram would help with performance and engine heat issues?

Probably not. Anything will eventtually get heat soaked. Especally metal heat shields.

I wouldn't waste my money personally, unless you care about show...because the "GO" on the heat shield is a no go..LOL..Peace!

I agree - I you won'tl feel any performance increase whatsoever.

Maybe .00000001 HP until the heat shield heats up. I thought of the same thing too, but it'll only block the heat for so long until it heats up itself.

CAI is a better solution...
