My brother has a mazda 3s Automatic, and we were just wondering if we can put in a CAI on without messing it up because the majority of people that have a CAI have manual...any suggestions?

it dosen't work yet

Sorry to give you bad news but it dosen't work, and before you be like me and loose and order one wait untill they fix the problem. (chair) They have figured that a bolt gets in the way, however you can use Zipties to keep it from rubbing. But i don't want to do that because of the risk of damage being done, sorry dude, they are "working". For now us Auto guys are out of luck

Some ppl

Some people have put the AEM on the auto tranny (M-I-C). A zip-tie is required in order to keep the CAI from rubbing on a single transmission bolt (K-E-Y). People have done this w/ success (M-O-U-S-E). I, personally am gonna wait for either the Injen or the AEM for the auto. I am NOT a friend of the big mouse.

all I have to add is fock the haters....don't let anyone tell you a cai will not show any gains on an atx 2.3 VVT!
