Advice on an MX-3

I found one in my area for cheap because it's not running. I know what it needs, but before I commit, I want to know if anyone has advice on what to look for.

It's a 93 GS with a V6 and automatic trans.

the crap-o-matic is made by ford. need I say more? It uses the same k series in engine found in the probe/mx6/626. Very easy to swap in a 2.5l in place of the 1.8l V6 but that would just shorten the live of the crappie tranny. If you were to pick up this car and keep the auto tranny I would recommend getting a tranny cooler asap. Also if you dont end up getting it would you mind passing on the info to me? If it is "cheap" and decent shape I may be interested in it. I have been thinking about finding a donor car. Seems that everything around my engine is following apart but the engine and tranny are fine with 130k. Well, let me know....
