Adventures in fiberglass

please make a tips thread....i have been tamperin with glass for a little while now and, even though my pieces do come out what i want them to look like, they just lack that professional perfectness...I think its the little things like the different materials and things you guys use.

Dont want to thread jack, because mad props go out to bigwoofer, he's one of the few guys in the mazda scene that get my respect and two thumbs up, as he does most of his own work and doesnt ever cheap out on anything. But here's a pic of a colour matched interior. All I can say is what was I thinking. The black suede I have now is so much nicer and much classier looking. Congrats on the 1st places Biggie, makes up for all the times I felt you were robbed in shows of the past.

doesn't that a-pillar kind of set the standard for blindspot? You can probably hide a bus load of nuns behind that a-pillar pod

I will try to take some video of it, trust me, i did many test fits and I have no more a blind spot than Phrisco with his autometer pillar pod.

good stuff BigWoofer, always amazed by your work, wish i had time to get into it

The actual glassing part is no big deal. It's the bloody sanding that takes forever and is a huge PITA
