I have a fmic on my speed and a greddy type s bov. the problem i am having is a surging problem when i accelerate.. I can push the pedal down hear the turbo spool and it bucks while driving. I have messed with the bov to try to adjust it and just cant get it right! Does anyone have any hints? I am running stock boost w/3 inch exhaust back. once i get this fixed then i can install my mbc
THanks(chair)

i dont think its the Bov sounds more like fuel cut , prob happens at full boost at about 4k?

or you might have a leak somewhere, so your maf is reading more air than is getting to the tb, making it overly rich.

Sounds like how my car was running when i put in the BKR7E plugs. You wouldn't happen to be running those would you?

WEll i dont have a FCD, but didnt think it was necessary til i hit 10lbs of boost? And i still have stock plugs in my car i havent swapped plugs cause of how back and forth they have been going.....

To Set the BOV it should be fairly easy to open with the car running but still return closed when released. From there you start adding washers or tightening the spring in small increments

How far are most of you guys tightening the nut on the greddy type s? It boosts good but for some reason if the pedal isnt on the floor completely it bucks!!!
