hey guys, was wondering which one would u guys recommend for my tranmission with 3rd gear grind... getin really annoying how it grinds...

i already used the oil stabilizer. it worked for a bit, but the grinding came back... im using royal purple 75/90 also. i used about almost half the bottle or a bit less of the oil stabilizer. does anyone recommending using a different product? thanks

i assume you used the synthetic oil stabilizer?

well, the one i used isnt synthetic... but says it can blend with synthetic or non synthetic... so im guessing im still safe...

i didnt use the synthetic version, but it said on the bottle that it is safe and should blend fine... but after i put it in it. mine was missing like half a bottle.... idk wtf why that happened, but i think still might be missing like another quater or so. but after i put it in, there was a much smoother shifting, but still didnt not elminate my 3rd gear grind.. just soften it a bit. i think my 3rd get is pretty much gone... i hate these transmission... blah.

In older post they say that the third gear grind is due to the syncronizers. You can do what you did and "soften" it or do it right and get the syncro's replaced.
