Adding one-touch to the rest of the windows?

Can it be done? I'd like to get one-touch operation on at least both of the front windows, and ideally on the rear, too, at least from the driver's console. I don't give a hoot if the passengers can do it :)

Yeah, you just need to buy new switches (buy 3 more driver's window switches and replace the normal ones.) I don't know how much they cost.

excellent, that's exactly what I was hoping to hear :) Now if only I could get remote window operation, like on my Jetta, heh

there is one touch down on the drivers side.

one touch up is what I really want.

Heh, I have this sneaking suspicion my windows will end up like 1/8th of an inch down or up, 'cause I'll hit it and forgot they're not rolling up :/

are you guys sure its just in the switch?
i dont think its just as easy as putting different switches in.

when you press the switch button all the way down, i think it activates a time activated circuit so that once the window is down, it does not keep trying to make the window glass move down more. either that, or a touch switch at the bottom where the glass hits, which will de-activate the motor.

I'm 99.9% sure you can just swap the switch. All the switch needs is a circuit that senses the load. When the windows gets to the bottom, the load on the motor skyrockets, the switch stops. Actually, I think the switches normally do that, so they just need the circuit to keep them going from the first hard press.

Why not try it yourself? Just wire your driver's window switch to a different window. It should work fine.
