Adding NAV to 2014 Mazda3

I would imagine the image would include a unique identifier. If activated in one car, the other card would become unusable... kind of like the way microsoft did their OS's and when I tried to reinstall on my replacement computer it wouldn't work. Had to call them and explain the situation. didn't help, had to buy another copy. grr

That would make sense if the cars infotainment computer was able to connect to the internet and verify the code. How it probably works is once the SD is put into the car it modifies the code to tie it into the car it was first inserted. I believe if someone can make an image before the card is ever put into a car you will be able to use the copy in a second car.

its impossible because the serial number of the card needed to be match with the VIC number of the car.
