Adding a 5 channel digital signal processor to clean up the factory radio sound

Has anyone tried adding a digital signal processor yet?

The "muddy bass" is getting a little annoying, and I have already tuned it to +2 bass, +5 treb.

I think new speakers would definitely be a better upgrade and if that still isn't good enough for you add an amplifier.
