Anyone given this a try? See any noticeable difference? I'm thinking about switching to that map for the winter months...figure a bit lower HP and torque on snow and ice wouldn't be such a bad thing.

Just wondering if anyone's tried it.

I think someone said something about the afrs or something being a bit on the dangerous side for that map, but this was a long time ago.

Is a legit question.

Anyone??

This would be a pretty cool map to have, especially in the winter months! So do you guys just keep your AP in the car? Or you plug it in, flash the new map, then keep the AP at home or something? I would rather it let you rev higher without boost. But then again, how is that even possible, lol.

To let it rev high without boost means you would have to rig the wastegate in the open position.

Winter is exactly why I'm running the map. No reason to have all that power...I was getting wheel spin just driving normally with the temps below 40F. I'm going to do some actual tracking of my gas mileage, so hopefully I'll have some real numbers in a couple of days.

I haven't tried driving mine in the snow yet, but I don't even want to know. I'm sure its going to take a lot of restraint.

It's about 75hp less map and will give you about 8-12 more mpg. I won't let you rev high.
FAKE.... 8 to 12 mpg lol

I tried the econo map on an 8 hr trip to virginia running cruise, I got the same fuel economy on the econ. map as the a 1.02 map (about 30 mpg at 75 mph.)

Dont waste your time on the econo map, just go back to stock map then if you need to romp on it - it's there and no worries about engine damage.

just made another 500 mile trip on cruise with 1.03 AP maps still getting 30 mpg so don't waste your time on the econo maps - like I said I didn't get any gains in mileage on the econo maps compared to either 1.02 maps OR 1.03 maps. I got 30 mpg stock also so the econo maps are a waste of time.
