whats up fellas, I have a 2009 mazsdp3 Sport and want to get HIDs for my headlights and fogs.

I know that the kit i need for the headlights is the Apexcone H7(im going 55watt ballast) and i will go with 6000k bulbs.

now, i need to know which kit do i need for my fogs lights. Am i to get the same H7 kit and get the 9006 bulbs?

is anyone running specials on the apexcone kits right now?

thanks

should i go with the slimline kit for both?

and i want to know how well the light output and color would match...i dont want my fogs to over power my headlights.

the headlights will be 55watt bal. with 6000k bulbs

and the fogs will be 35wattbal. with 4500k bulbs. will both have the slight blue tint with that setup and equal output?

can any one send me a website were i can get 6000k hid for my head light that is plyg and play??and is very good quality??

I suggest not getting HIDs for the fogs unless you are dying for the look. Get some nice white bulbs or leds instead.... OR smoke them, yellow them, something like that.... but to each his own AS LONG AS YOU POST PICS WHEN YOU're DONE ;)

operator said ddmtuning is running specials on Apexcone kits. and the H7 kit is what you want, you just buy 6000k bulbs for it.

are you talking about upgrading the hids on the GT from 35 to 55watt? i heard it was very much worth it.

theres some pics around of the stock HIDs vs the upgrade to 55watt ballast. they are much brighter.

yeah, good i idea, ill go with LED fogs

has anyone tried a retro fit on the fogs into projector type housing like the low beams are?
these are (were) used on the vettes i know for sure (maybe last model body style)

i kinda wished mazda had used the round fog light housing so projector fits would be easier/better looking. i also think that projectors would increase the functionality of the fogs, cuz i sure as hell can't tell they're on

sok07 did some retrofitting in his fogs

Finished the projector retrofit into the stock foglight housings on the speed3 about 4 weeks ago and finally finished putting a 3000k HID H3 kit in them. Note the pics of the illumination patter are not the stock reflector based foglights, they are Bosch H3 projectors. Here are the pics....

driver's perspective sequence shots of the lighting on the speed3 as follows... 5000k HID lowbeams w/ OEM HID projectors on, 3000k H3 HID foglight projectors on, and finally both the low beams and foglights on.

The following are some shots to compare the lighting setup on my little brother's Mz3 (my old Mz3) and the new speed3 lighting config. The lighting setup on the Mz3 are stock HIDs for lowbeams and MDX projector foglights w/ a 4700k system. The night time shots are taken at 1/2-1 second exposures, so the glare is a bit exagerrated.

Are the DDM/Apexcone HID kits plug and play?

I have a 2008 MS3 Sport and was looking at getting a kit but didn't want to mess with splicing or direct battery connections.

I was thinking of getting a 35w 4500k setup.
