A totaled Mazda 3

It was my sister's 2005 Mazda3s and I love that car. It was rear ended by a Ford Explorer going 55mph, the driver dropped her cellphone and didn't look up in time to brake, apparently she didn't brake at all in the police report. The Mazda3 was at a stand still waiting to make a left turn.

Well she wasn't even in the car, I was in the passenger side b/c I let my friend drive it. She let me use it for the week b/c our brother was in town and he wanted to use my car.

The insurance company at fault considered it a totaled loss and value the car at $15,400. The passenger in the backseat is FINE no injuries, but the two people in the front including myself were. I was afraid the nurses in the emergency room was going to shave my hair off, I had a two inch cut on the back of my head from flying glass. Also, going to the chiropractor three times a week is not fun.

i hear that! but if the person who's at faults insurance company's paying for it, then theres no need to sue. people sue each other way to damn much, i cant pick my nose in public w/o someone suing me for mental anguish(bear with me i had the phrase on the tip of my tongue). i'd buy the car back and part it out*shrug*you never know what part people need, like those rims(naughty) and if its a 2.3 auto then (naughty)(naughty)

Also those aren't the original tires, it's some performance brand, I forgot. Personally I would have swap the rims from the 3 to my 6. The 3's rims looks so much better than the stock 17s on the 6. Everything under the hood is in perfect condition. Damn I ma miss driving that 3. I like it better than my 6.

My sister just going to use the money from the insurance and get her an 07 Mazda 3 since it's the model year close out sale at all the dealerships here. She has her heart determined on a Mazda 3, she dislike my 6 because she thinks it's too big for her. She also hate Civics because there are too many on the road.

I agree, people need to learn that when they are driving their cars first and foremost they need to....DRIVE! Not chit chat, if you drop your phone though luck, I'm glad you guys are ok.

I honestly wish all people that are road hazards drive into a ditch before hitting an innocent person.(stooges)

I partially agree except with stuff like this. I can't stand 90% of people on the road. If it were up to me people who caused accident's like this should be fined!

It's funny you said that, because the driver of the Ford Explorer said she couldn't swerve because she either would run into a ditch or face on coming traffic.
