A Super Secret Mystery Switch??

Hey I'm new here...I just bought an '02 P5 used from a local dealer yesterday.

I just noticed it has this metal toggle switch between the fog light and dashlight dimmer wheel and I can't figure out for the life of me what it does. The dealer told me initially it was what turned on the fog lights, but then I found out otherwise.

I think it's some kind of an after market mod because of how it looks, and the minor damage around where the switch is located...that and the fact that I couldn't find it anywhere in any manuals.

here's some pics i just ran out and took

btw, it is an automatic, but one that has some manual capabilities. this isn't a pic of mine but its the same idea.

help much appreciated. I'm hoping it's some kind of missile launcher or gatling gun switch, but i'll settle for magic candy dispenser

that's the top secret NAWZZ button! don't touch! it will make your car go fast!

havent you seen speed racer? its to launch yourself like 50 feet into the air.

but i doubt anybody will be able to help you with just that picture. if you have anything in the car that doesnt look stock you should let us know so we dont have to guess from a bajillion possibilities.

It looks liek the exact switch they use for neon underbodies. Check under the car to see if you have holes drilled in the lip under teh side skirt.

It is most likely a "Fat Chick Ejector", wired to your passenger seat. Use it in case of emergency only!

***PLEASE NOTE***
A Fat Chick Ejector does not work in conjuction with your sunroof, as some Pro5's do not come equiped with one. Instead, it automatically opens your passenger door and tilts the seat outward ejecting the fatty directly onto the pavement. (getout)

BTW: I had one on my very first car. I only had to use it once, but I was sure glad I had it.

i've heard that really fat chicks will actualy end up breaking the ejection mechanism - too much load on the motors... I've never experienced this though - no fat chicks are allowed in my car.

try flipping it and see what happens, or contact the previous owner (dealer should have record of this)

my guess is it might be a bypass for the fog lights, so you can turn them on whenever you want, instead of having to have your low beams on and crap

That is the worp speed button and you don't.... don't want to push it...

from VW's commercial...

i flicked the switch on and off with the car on and off, the engine on and off, while driving, etc. but it never seemed to do anything. I checked for drilled holes per the neon underbody theory but found none. I finally took a look behind and found what I'm 90% sure the switch goes to: a couple of severed wires.

well maybe the mystery will never be solved...but on the bright side I guess I'm one step closer to having Fat Chick Ejector installed. I hear the newest model features a pedestrian targeting HUD display. No fun in aimlessly releasing perfectly good ammo, I always say.
