A new Mazda5 replacement... by BMW?!

Looks like Mazda 5 with BMW grill.
I'm not getting any car with out sliding doors till kids grow up.
So by the way it looks, no Mazda or BMW for me for a very long time if I have to replace this one.
Might have to just get Caravan.

I like the Ford C-Max better. I was all excited when I heard about it coming to NA, but my heart sank as soon as they said only the hybrid version would be made. Nope!

Its a BMW, so it will be a few things the 5 is not. Most importantly for most of us here, it will not be cheap. If most of the newest BMWs are anything to go by it will not be that great to drive (compared to older BMWs that is) And with no sliding doors my interest wanes in a hurry, the Ford Transit Connect will be more car for less cash in all probability....

It does look like a Mz5 with a BMW grill!.. Put sliding doors on it and I'm game. I would pay the premium for better finish and that oversized moonroof!

you mean not poor folks :p

That will not sell in the US. There's no way it's coming here. Even with BMW, maker of 100 different confusing models that nobody can tell apart, it wouldn't work.

If for no other reason than it would cannabalize sales from the crossover/cuv market that they helped to create. Premium minivans are sales dogs generally speaking. Look at the MB R class and VW Routan for proof.
