A/F question

my mods are in my sig. I put my corksport dp on this weekend, I have a CEl for the o2 sensor b/c of the dp, didn't get to drive it around too much b/c of the rain up here in NY but i got on it today and my a/f on my ap is reading like 9.8 at WOT, thats not good. Just looking for a little input on my situation.

9.8 is OK I'd think...the lower you are, the more rich you're running. It may take a couple of days for the ECU to relearn the fuel stuff. Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery for a few minutes to reset the ECU, then just give it a few days to sort things out. Until then, you're fine...you may burn through more fuel than you're used to, but you're not running lean.

thanks for the fast responses guys i was just a little worried b/c i saw some talk about like 12.5 being the target.

14.7 is stoichiometric or considered perfect for complete combustion.

11s are safe. 12.5 is close I think.

Anything low is fine. Once it starts creeping up past 14 at WOT I'd be concerned. You want it a little rich to help keep things cool

let the car learn it first and c what u get, when i did my dp i smoked in idle but since then iv uped the fuel and hav had no problems, run 14.5-.6 idle and 12.0 at open throttle
