which sensor is the best to hook up to the first or second o2 and if the second which wire is it

My guess would be the first, so that you get "unaltered" readings. But I don't know for sure...

hook it up at the ecu...

its the wire covered with a grey layer. right at the ECU its pink/blue. but after 3" from ecu its grey.

i have it hooked to the pink and blue wire(covered with the grey) at the first 02 but the gauge just keepd bouncing back and forth even at ft

at FULL throttle it should read rich. mine is hooked to the ECU and it reads rich at WOT.

everything else BUT WOT will have the gauge boucing back.

does anyone else's read rich after 78mph? after sustaining 78mph cruising speed, the car goes to full rich. 75-ish is the threshold. it's quite weird.

I hooked mine up at the ECU, I didn't even count the pin number, I just found the pink/blue wire and tapped into it and mine works fine. For some reason other are having problems getting theirs to work when they tap into the ECU.

I tapped mine into the second 02 only because it was driving me crazy doing the constant cycle off the first 02. Works fine off the second 02. I cant remember what wire it was though. I also added a toggle swith to turn the guage off if needed. (can get a little annoying on the dark highway at night depending ont he gauge location)

could you take a look to see what wire it was

I wonder why some people are having problems tapping into the wire at the ecu. I didn't have a problem and some others didnt, but some have tried it and got nothing.

I have tried 4 different wires under the dash to get a 12v current. So far I have not been able to get my gauge to come on... WTF.
Can anyone give me a good spot to tap (maybe color & location) for a good power wire on the driver side?

I used the dimmer for the lights in the car, that way when I want the guage on I can turn it on. When I want it off I just turn the lights off, atleast in the day time.
