Hello! I have this engine stalling issue with my car. It seems to stall when I am coming to a stop, brought it to the mechanic and he wasn't able to diagnose the problem. Has anyone come across this problem before?

I have now noticed that when slowing down, the engine is idling rather low, I can't tell how many RPMs I am idling at as there is no tachometer guage. In any case, there have been instances when the engine will stall either when I am coasting slowly along or when I come to a complete stop and then engine would restart quickly.
Now, when I anticipate if the engine is about to stall, I will try to give the engine gas but it seems that it is not responding and the engine will stall. Also, when it does stall, the engine will not re-start quickly as before. Could this be a fuel line problem? A hose problem? A Combination thereof?
