Hi

Other question about I-personalize :)

I don't really understand how the crossover works, I got four infinity speakers on my car.

Front speakers:

Infinity 652I
6-1/2" two way

Power handling: 60w RMS, 180 W peak
Sensitivity: 92 db
Frequency response: 54hz - 20khz
impedance: 4 omhs

Rear speakers:

Infinity Kappa 62.5I two way
6-1/2" two way

Power handling: 75w RMS, 225w peak
Sensitivity: 90 db
Frequency response: 45hz - 21khz
impedance: 4 omhs

So guys this information about my speakers is all I need to fill up the crossover window on the alpine site?

what info goes where and why do I need this crossover set up on my headunit?

will this improve the sound?

thanks again

Alex :)

A crossover eliminates the frequencies that a speaker can't play anyways and thus stops distortion maxamizes power. The front speakers should be in the area of 80 HZ high pass. the rears should be the same. Play around with it for desired results. The higher the number the less bass the speakers will play. The slope of the crossover refers to how much the unwanted bands are rejected. 12db slopes will get rid of the unwanted sound at a decent rate but 24 db will all but eliminate them totaly.
