Corksport Testpipe and SU shifter bushings added on page #2

Video of CorkSport testpipe added on page #3

Just purchased my 2008.5 metropolitan grey mica MS3 sport about a month ago and love everything about it (well maybe not the notchy gear box). So far I only have the SU rear mount as far as mods go, but enough talking, pics for clicks...

Congrats on a new car - you'll love it even more once you done breaking it in and realize its full potential, even in stock form. Look around the forum here and you will see some solutions to that notchy gearshift.
your car looks just like my Cosmic blue on the pics... you sure you got Grey?

congrats, its a great car (except for the MM, Shifter, Shocks, clunking gears, torque steer, wheel hop)

I'm from Sunrise and had to check out my old area code. Enjoy the car, and maybe bring it up to the GA twisties to have some real fun with it. FL is flatter than two day old PBR.

I'm always around the sunrise area, some nice cars out there. I'd love to see some real twisties outside of florida.

Added few goodies over the past week.

first was a MS CAI:

Sound: the difference in sound was noticed as soon as i pulled out of the neighborhood. the famous "woosh" sound is very noticeable, as well as the stock bpv. the stock bpv almost sounds like a sneeze under full boost now. the first tank of gas after the install went pretty fast after i was spooling up a blowing off at everything possible.

Performance: at first i really didn't notice so much of a performance gain, that was up until i remembered to reset the ecu (hand). after that i noticed that i could be going 20 mph in 2nd gear, step on it, and have the tires break loose before the shift to third. third seems to pull a little bit harder according to the butt dyno.

next up, SU shifter bushings:

stock bushing, notice the metal piece is slightly bent after 8000 miles

IMO the bushing are an OK mod, but for $30 you can't really expect much. daily driving feels a little nicer, and during "spirited" driving gears seem to slip into place a little bit easier. the notchy feeling between gears isn't as noticeable, but it's still there
