u guys have helped me on every thing i ever asked so ill throw it by u people.
i just acquired an 89 subaru XT6 that wouldn't start but had run befor.
i replaced everything... the cap, rotor, wires, plugs, even the coil and still nothing so i decided to try turning it over without the cap on and found that the rotor doesn't move. i broke it all down to a large peice covering the shaft and gears but that peice will not budge.. should i tap it lightly with a rubber malet as not to break any gears or the shaft?
