87 323 turbo parts swap?

Are there any parts from a 1987 323, with the 1.6 turbo 16 valve engine, all wheel drive (AWD, 4X4), five speed manual that can be used on later model Protege's?. I ran across two that will be sold cheap.

I don't have a turbo'ed Protege, but my guess would be no.

just the turbo and waste gate lol and maybe some coolant lines but still even with the turbo you would have to have custom flanges and manifolds made...not worth any time or money....just buy a mazda speed kit

That's what I figured. I saw a roll back dragging old cars out of the woods next to my brothers house and among them were the two 87 323's I didn't know they built them with 4 X 4 (AWD). Any way the owner said something about selling them on E-Pay and I thought good luck!

Yeah. A boosted AWD 323 would kill. I wish i would have gone a route similar to that, the ultimate sleeper

I meant in reference to the OP as he's relatively local. I really don't need any parts, but their's always room for spare parts for the Tracer .
