Always on this site at work, and finally have some money to buy stuff for my car, so decided to start a build thread.
Also, i dont know why there is 2 "T"s in my name, typo when registered. its not a twin turbo

After my sister totaled my boosted 01 protege es, and going through a honda faze (I know i know) I picked up an 03 MSP in December of 2009. When i got it it had about 60k and the only changes made to it were that the stupid owner decided he didnt like the Spicy paintjob, and got it custom painted "Cadillac Escalade Black". Now that I have my old job back, and makin some money, LET THE MODDING BEGIN!

Just got done installing the Meth Kit. loving it so far, feels smoother at WOT and a bit peppier. I think it will really help when i get my fmic, up the boost and get/tune aem fic.

The kit didnt say i had to, but i used some RTV around the injector nozzle. need to clean it up

fit perfectly there

Need to clean up the wiring a little tomorrow. got kinda late and i have to work in the morning :/

FMIC came today.
install took from 9-12. super tired now.
used the cxracing ebay setup, as i used on my first protege. went with a slightly larger core this time around and black pipes.
still need to raise it about 1-2 inches, finish trim a few pipes, get 2 more T-Bolt clamps. than im going to heatwrap the pipes too.

Yes that is red duct tape on the hotpipe, temporary fix to a boost leak.

re mounted my intercooler today. more forward and mounted more securely, and cut out the grill tabs

going to try to redo the hotpipe routing so its not hanging so low

i got the meth kit from a guy that bought it for his wrx, than sold his wrx. so brand new i got it for 175. just installed it and its awesome! feels a lot smoother at WOT and a little peppier. the FMIC should be here wenesday so that will be next. cant wait!

im just running the blue washer fluid -20 that snowperformance reccomends, its about 40/60 meth/water. its regulated by a boost switch.
i am going to do probably mix it myself next time and do like 70/30 meth...
yea white would be sick, i might do it after taxes...

now are you planning on tuning with meth and adjusting your timing accordingly with meth injected? if so, i sure hope you have a low level warning light because if you advance the timing too much with the meth, and you run out... yea.... need i say more? lol

some meth kits come with a feature that prevents any damage from being done. i think it actually shuts off the car but im not 100% sure on that.

yes i plan on tuning with the meth and yes i will have a fluid level sensor.

idk about that dandan but sounds cool. i would just rather use a sensor though.

if you are using aem to tune, why not just have two different maps? one with meth and one without.

i honestly didnt know that the fic can use two different maps. i have been reading a lot about the FIC but that must have gone unnoticed. or is it the full standalone ems your talking about?

Eh, im not sure. Lol. Ill try researching to see if it's possibly or not. What all do you have control of with the FIC?

What do you mean? Are you asking what the FIC controlls? Or what controls the FIC?
The fic is a fuel ignition controller, so a/f and timing. Its user programable with provided software

what vaccum source is everyone using for their blow off valves? i eventually need a vaccum block, but just wanna know for now what your usign. brake booster?
