6disc cd's jammed - need out asap

i have an 07 6S with the 6disc mp3 player. yesterday my cd's jammed and i think its hopeless for the CD player as i'm getting "no disc" when i push the cd button.
i don't really care about playing the cd player since i've got my mp3 player, but i need the cd's out asap as they're not mine and they need returned
has anyone taken apart the cd portion to get the cd's out and still been able to keep the radio working? as said, i just need the cd's out, don't care if the cd player works.
don't want to have to buy a new radio
