6 x 9 speakers rear deck Protege5

Hi guys..i am interested in putting some 6 x 9 speakers in the rear deck of my 02 p5 and i seen pics of how they would look installed. I do have a question however regarding wiring of the speakers and how to make it work. I currently have a 4 channel amp hooked up to the door speakers. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm guessing the privacy cover in the hatch area. I've seen it done a lot in other hatchbacks, but never heard one in use. I can only imagine the vibrations that would result...

Good set of components up front. Nice sub in the back. Absolutely zero reason to run additional 6x9s. You can leave the rear door speakers for backseat passengers but otherwise they just ruin the soundstage.

Agreed. There really isn't any reason to waste money upgrading rear speakers or trying to add any.

Agree with everyone about rear speakers, I don't even run any. Go with a good set of speakers (that YOU like, nobody elses opinion matters) up front and a sub and be happy.

dam...i hate to see a good set of 6 x 9 to go to waste. Now lets just say if I decided to do it anyways? How would I wire these speakers?

It depends on what you're powering them with. Hard to do without an amp, but you can cut the rear door speakers out all together and use those channels, or wire the 6x9s in series with the rear door speakers, but that cuts the available power in half.
