6 disc changer in 2005 Mazda 6i stopped working!

i am unable to eject the disc, load another or even play the one that is currently in the player. It seems as thoughit is stuck in a changer limbo. I would much appreciate any ideas.

And is there a secret to removing the console's cover?

Console removal is easy. The hardest bolt to get to is the one hidden in the glove box.

This just happened in mine and I had it replaced under warranty @ the dealership for free.

probably one of your cd's feel of the tray. its prety easy to remove the cover. just alot of small screws around the cd changer. if you never removed it should take about 15-20 min. and thats going slow. gl

Hi, same problem with cd won't eject. Understand most of console removal but can't seem to find any 'clips' to pop up console. Are those in the flip-up cup compartment? And do I need to remove those side shields before lifting console? Thanks in advance. 2004 Mazda 6
