My friend Johnny with a pro DX 2.0L was the fastest protege out of the bunch with less than $400 in mods. How much boost are you pushing?
 
less than 5psi. My boost gauge goes 0-30 so it's a little difficult to distinguish EXACT numbers but I've never seen it creep past 5psi, ever. I'm claiming 4.8psi.
 
be careful asking too many questions....may get your AV status removed for talking about W**P...

DaveB machined both the pulley and the brackets I'm using. We spent a weekend in his shop (20hr days) doing the math and coming up with a way to package everything nice and clean in the engine bay. I think it turned out very well.
 
yeah, thats me in the mazsport shirt. I also have a blue one. I bought 2 of them a while back. I shoulda bought more. I wear them all the time.
 
Son of a b****... why did my engine have to blow right before this meet? awesome ****** turnout :( I was going to try to drive down even with out my car but ran into some problems while doing that... oh well. Life is a b****... then you get your car back :)
 
now that you've got your car built and all upgraded you need to bring to Bama Drag this saturday night for midnight madness...I'll be there in my car. Maybe we could run each other.
 
It's not completely done yet. Around another 2 weeks and she will be up and running (hopefully). Still waiting on the block from wagner. But hell yeah... As soon as I get her... that's one of the first places I'm going :)
