Too stock? What are you talking about? I think it's a sweet car. Although I would have done a few things differently this is the car I am modeling mine after, money permitting.

Thread Jack:
505, did you give my phone number to Beau? Cause he has not called me yet. You are the only person I know that can contact him right now.

You need more stuff for your car, it still seems too stock for me :)

man now i dont feel so bad that it takes awhile to mod these MSP's. just gotta give it some time and your car is bad for stock internals. ever think of doing a block buildup??

dude, your making 250+ HP with stock internals??
in the list i can't see anywhere where you had forged internals

elaborate please....

he's a factory freak.

If you notice when he shows his dyno, theres a big dip in the power right where peak torque would be, which he did to help protect his stock internals when run that hard.

I didn't do that til this year, and I haven't added anything about this year as of yet. After this next round of mods are in I will do the 2006 update, but yes... the bottom of the bumper beam was trimmed.

Haha, actually, I have added some things and taken away some things since that post.;)

Yes, but I am going to take one shot at the 300whp mark before that happens.

I broke the 250whp mark back in January of 2005. Stock bottom end, stock head. More elaboration here: http://www.stimulated.net/pub/505zoom-buildup-compilation.mov

Exactly... lots of timing pulled at the max tq point since that is where the rods would be most stressed. I also used 101 octane pump gas on the last batch of runs when I hit 277.
