... Is scheduled to get here today. (rockon)

Joe from Xcelerated Concepts made me a one-off reverse cowl hood, which features a double carbon underside and hi temp resin. As some of you know, my Wings West hood got absolutely murdered by heat around the passenger side vent area. Yellowing, cracking, fading galore. Joe is hoping that the extra 2 carbon layers and the hi temp resin will keep that from happening to me with this one.

Pics coming up as soon as I get it on the car.

This is perhaps the most anxious I have ever been while waiting for a courier. Can't wait to see this badboy.

Yup it is here, zero shipping damage, richman is a very very happy camper. After 3 wings west hoods, I was convinced that it was impossible to get a flawless piece of cloth that was big enough to do an entire hood. I see now that I was mistaken. :)

Zero funky spots... Zero bubbles... amazing finish on it. Absolutely bitchin.

Joe, thanks a ton man. Might have to consider that trunk since my JSP is flat out UGLY as far as quality goes. lol.

Pics are uploading. (rockon)

Almost there.

I must say that I was a little concerned this morning about the hood. I woke up to a text message saying it was out for delivery, was thinking "sweet that was quick". Decided to check the online tracking, and it said that it arrived in phoenix at 9AM and was on the truck for delivery. I was like uhhhh, phoenix is 8+ hours from here... wtf? Called DHL and the lady there said that all USA deliveries are done by private contractor now. The one that serves the albuquerque area just so happens to be in phoenix, so she said to expect it today. Thought that was kinda weird.

I'll take some more pics out in the sun tomorrow. Pretty overcast today. I also need to get the hood lined up a little better when I have a helper that isn't 7 years old. :) Will do that when my roommate gets home at 6ish.

Here's a few pics.
