505 Cold Air Box GB

This is the official GB thread for the new 505 Cold Air Box. 20 boxes will be made for this first batch. (rockon)

Info on prototype development can be found in the gauging interest thread.

Boxes include IAT sensor port, attached quarter-turn quick-release DZUS fasteners, and stainless steel mounting hardware. Piping kits include T6 aluminum piping, silicone couplers, clamps, breather port, and optional 1" BPV port.

Once we have 15 payments in, production will move immediately from waterjet to the welder. Material for piping kits will also be ordered at that time. Final assembly/boxing will happen 1-2 weeks after that, at which point your remaining balance (shipping cost) will be due.

Additions/improvements to the final production pieces pushed the price $25 over the original projection, but I feel that the tradeoff is necessary. The final pieces are thicker, fit tighter, and all around are super high quality.

N/A Kit = 3" filter -> 3" box -> MAF -> 2.75" piping -> TB
MSP Kit = 2.75" filter -> MAF -> 3" box -> 3" piping -> stock turbo inlet
3" Kit = 3" filter -> 3" box -> 3" piping -> 3" turbo inlet


Filter for N/A and 3" kits is a Origin Dry HP (red, yellow, or blue).

Filter for MSP kits is a K&N SN-2580.

Custom options are available (within reason). Please inquire via PM if you need something different.

Will this fit a 1.6L?

I just checked out the pics in your sig. It sure looks like it would fit. A/C line, headlights, and fuse box are all that really matter for the box itself. The rest would be pretty much the same as the normal N/A kit. What size is the TB inlet?

Only with a temperature gauge... dyno results will be about the same as any other CAI.

I believe TB is 2 inches.
