5-year old RX-8 beats competition: C&D

Just got the June Car and Driver in the mail

4th Ford Shelby GT
3rd Nissan 350Z
2nd Audi TT 2.0T
1st RX-8

Although it got its butt kicked in straight-line speed, it obviously more than makes up for in other areas.

very nice. I like the RX8 a lot. I wouldnt mind having one.

Eh, the points that made the top score were not that substantial. "Got to have it" point. Don't forget that the RX-8 got the all so important 1 point for rebates/discounts. The "Fun To Drive" category point is also very subjective. If you knock out these tidbits of points the Audi would have been a very close match.

Still.....I'm loving it anyway. I don't need a magazine to tell me.
