- 2004 Mazda 3 hatchback
I have an 04 mazda 3 hatchback with 130K miles on her. when i was driving on the highway the other day in 4th gear (auto transmission), i had let off cuz someone pulled in front of me - as I was getting back up to speed, my car started shaking pretty violently around 3k rpm but then stopped after about 4-5 seconds, then did it about 2 more times over the course of the next hour. any idea to what this may be? Ive heard it could be the torque converter lockup solenoid...not sure though.
