440cc Injectors Kit

I just bought a set of Stage 1 mopar SRT-4 injectors. So we will see how much work they take.

Here's the dimensions the guy gave me of the injectors. I haven't compared them yet of the MSP, but it will give you a good idea of mods. needed for them to fit.

Tip into engine = 0.284" diameter (collar = 0.413 dia)
O-Ring into Engine = .555" dia
Fuel rail side diameter = 0.384" dia
Fuel Rail O-ring 0.565" dia
Overall Length = 2.493"
Diameter of body in center = 0.590"

Are you using those as replacement injectors or as the extra injectors ?

I think they are the only ones..

They flow over 530cc. I think they will be enough to replace the stockers. Tuning should be fun with them

wrx blues seem to be in short supply lately. i'd assume the sti injectors are drop-ins for the wrx's so i bet they'd work on the fs fuel rail too. seems like overkill unless you've got big plans though. ebay had some modified blues that could flow around 850cc, check them out, they'd fit

No. Sti injectors are a totally differtent. They need a lot more work.

I wish you luick, they will probably be a nightmare to tune for idle.

Why don't you throw a couple of them under neath like you were originally thinking of doing ?

I'm not sure with the way the plenum is to get even flow of fuel into every cylinder that way. I'm gonna try it using these on the motor in it now, if I can get to run decent then when the "other" motor goes in I will fine tune it.

You can always weld on to the intake runners and run 4 extra injectors.

It wouldn't LOOK stock. Changing the injectors is no longer stock. LOL

where can I get some WRX 440cc injectors?

I would suggest checking around on a WRX message boards.... I got mine from a guy in town here.

They are pretty much worthless to a WRX guy once they've upgraded. I basically bought lunch for the guy who I got mine from.
